This DC based band released its first album, Birdseed Shirt, this year. They offer multiple songs for a free download on their website. Pitchfork gave their debut an 8.0. I downloaded the songs they offer and loved them. Download what they offer for sure, and if your feeling ambitious go out to a record store and buy it. Its interesting, and if had the whole album it might have even appeared on my Mid Year's Best. Give them a chance. They will make you berry berry happy :)Hot Bitch of the Day

Some of you will know here from the band Broken Social Scene, but if you have been listening to FNX lately you've probably heard her new band Metric's song Help I'm Alive. Its a good, catchy song, and more importantly, the singer is reasonably hot. Emily, you are the Hot Bitch of the Day.
